Tasks
- Monitor data across the firm using Aladdin’s Thresholds Reporting System
- Investigate data and prepare accurate reports (e.g., Major Shareholding, Net Short Selling, Takeover Panel) to regulators and companies within prescribed timelines
- Maintain clear records of reports and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Review system reports and reconcile data to identify investment limits
- Support process optimization and automation initiatives, ensuring procedures are documented and quality controls are maintained
- Become acquainted with BlackRock’s various Aladdin applications, trade flow process, and data environment
- Investigate or troubleshoot potential errors when needed
Requirements
- The position is open for applicants with active or passive student status
- Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Software development, Finance, Economics, or any related field
- Fluency in written and spoken English is essential
- Knowledge of MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Strong interpersonal skills and work ethic
- Analytical mind and approach
- Dedicated approach to issue resolution
- Ability to recognize individual and team objectives and goals
- Ability to facilitate compromise between conflicting requirements or points of view
Working hours
- Availability to work 25-30 hours per week according to agreed schedule

Nice to have
- Knowledge of programming languages (such as Visual Basic, C++, or Java) and an understanding of relational database concepts (including SQL)
- Knowledge of financial instruments and markets
- Strong IT skills
